Terms of Service
Last Updated: June 28, 2026• Legally Binding Version 1.1
Welcome to Batchbound. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our web-based label creation layouts, automated allergen checkers, and digital cloud dashboard spaces (the “Service”).
By creating an account, upgrading to premium service tiers, or accessing our printing generation endpoints, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Batchbound. If you disagree with any portion of these conditions, you are strictly prohibited from utilizing our software endpoints.
1. Account Security & Acceptable Use Rules
To unlock the database capabilities, you must initialize a credentialed path using Firebase authentication. You explicitly guarantee that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or possess valid corporate registration credentials to operate an independent food enterprise.
- You accept total legal accountability for preserving the absolute secrecy of your active authentication tokens.
- You will not use automated extraction scripts, scraper algorithms, or high-velocity denial-of-service commands against our application servers.
2. Intellectual Property Ownership Structure
Our Proprietary Materials
The software architecture, Next.js code structures, underlying Firestore schema structures, system styling guidelines, custom layout geometries, vector framing components, and branding logos belong entirely to Batchbound. You are granted a restrictive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the interface.
Your Output Ownership
Any raw text configurations, custom ingredient data blocks, and final label layouts exported into download formats (such as single sheets or full Avery PDF grids) remain 100% your exclusive intellectual property. We retain no structural claim over your commercial products.
3. Merchant of Record, Subscriptions & Billing
To ensure secure transaction flows across international networks, our premium subscription plans and on-demand credit bundle elements utilize an external payment utility framework.
💳 Official Paddle Merchant of Record Provision
Our order process is conducted completely by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle. transactional tax calculations, localized currency invoicing operations, and subscription charge back handshakes.
By purchasing premium software privileges or credit packs, you explicitly bound yourself to Paddle’s Buyer Terms of Service and checkout documentation.
Subscription instances are calculated dynamically depending on your active toggle choice (Billed Monthly vs. Billed Annually). Your chosen cycle will renew automatically at the exact conclusion of your current billing window unless you trigger a standard account freeze request.
4. Cancellation Mechanics & Refund Guidelines
How to Cancel Subscriptions
You possess the absolute right to cancel your continuous membership plan at any given moment. To cancel, navigate cleanly to your **Billing Dashboard** inside your account, or dispatch a written cancellation command to **support@yourdomain.com**. Following cancellation, your premium workspace privileges will persist uninterrupted until your current pre-paid cycle naturally concludes.
Our 14-Day Refund Guarantee
We extend a transparent, **14-day money-back guarantee** on initial recurring subscription activations. If you feel the utility fails to fulfill your compliance demands, contact our team within 14 calendar days of payment to receive a full refund.
⚠️ On-Demand Credit Packs are non-refundable once any individual printing credits have been drawn down or downloaded.
5. Regulatory Disclaimers & Absolute Limits of Liability
Batchbound serves strictly as an interactive processing and design utility tool. We do not provide professional legal counsel, official food sanitation audits, or guaranteed verification loops for state-level labeling regulations (including FSSAI, FDA, or EU compliance architectures).
The accurate tracking of legal nutritional metrics, precise allergen definitions, health hazard warnings, and packaging weights remains the exclusive legal accountability of the business owner. Batchbound, its founders, and its processors (including Paddle) assume **ZERO liability** for inventory loss, recall costs, enforcement penalties, or consumer health damages resulting from mislabeled food assets.
OUR SOFTWARE INFRASTRUCTURE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT IMPLIED OR EXPLICIT WARRANTIES. TO THE FULLEST REACH ALLOWED BY GLOBAL JURISDICTIONS, OUR CUMULATIVE LIABILITY CAP WILL NEVER SURPASS THE HISTORICAL MONETARY SUM PAID BY YOU TO THE PLATFORM DURING THE RECENT 12-MONTH SERVICE CYCLE.
